Art Exhibition Wednesday 13th November 5.00pm – 7.30pm
I would like to invite you to an exhibition of your child’s artwork. The children have worked hard over the last few weeks developing the skills and techniques needed to produce their art. We are very proud of what they have created. This year the theme of the exhibition is Poetry. Each class has chosen a poem and used it as the inspiration for their art work.
We are pleased to announce that this year there will be entertainment throughout the evening. Mrs Lucas will lead both an Infant and Junior Choir as they perform their favourite songs.
We would like to invite children to sing for the parents and have set out a timetable below: (please arrive 10 minutes before the performance).
5.05pm Infants (Year 1 & 2) Nursery rhyme songs
5.25pm Year 4 Class 7 Living on a Prayer
Class 8 One moment in time
5.40pm Year 3 Class 5 That’s what makes you beautiful

There will be demonstrations of how we produced our Art work.
House Captains are invited to assist during the evening where they can and explain their own important role in the school.
Refreshments will also be available throughout the evening including tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits, mulled wine, mince pies and juice.
All profits from the event will be used to support the development of the children’s art experiences across the school.
Please come and support the children at this event. We know you will find it hugely enjoyable, be amazed at the fantastic masterpieces on display and be very proud of your child’s achievement.
The exhibition will be held in the Junior Hall on Wednesday 13th November from 5.00pm – 7.30pm.
The artwork is available to order at the exhibition or from the school office until Wednesday 20th November. Each framed masterpiece can be purchased for £6. In addition to the framed original you can also order extra framed colour copies for £6 each.
The framed masterpiece or copy with its personalised label provides a lasting memento of your child’s time at school and also makes a fantastic present for Birthdays or Christmas.
Although framed pictures may be purchased at the exhibition we would ask that you do not take the pictures off the display stands so that parents attending after you can also view the full exhibition. We will hand out the masterpieces to parents before we finish for Christmas.
If you are unable to attend the event but still wish to purchase artwork then please call into the school office to make your payment by the 20th November 2019. Please note the artwork will not be available to view at the office and you will be ordering without having sight of it.
